The Vision
Vision Driven 757 was started in 2020 as a youth focused non-profit organization. Initially, Vision Driven started with a meal delivery program, created at the start of the pandemic to service students who were unable to go to pick up sites for breakfast and lunch after the school closures. The program started in Portsmouth with 2 volunteers and grew to four cities (Portsmouth, Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Suffolk) with a team of 8. From March to July over 100 families received lunches, food items, and hot meals, totaling over 8500 delivered. The program was made possible through local donors and sponsors and partnerships with various organizations.
The program made local and national news and gained Lindsey to be deemed a Hero on the Frontline by Health Magazine. Today, Vision Driven 757 has several anochered programs including Building Bosses Youth Empowerment Conference, The Visionary Academy, and The Be Well series. The organization has corporate sponsors and partners, a strong community network and continues to pioneer new and innovative initiatives and programs that service not just the youth but enhance the community around them.
